Torres Torres Torres! Liv 2-0 Mu

Hell a game in Anfield! Torres the ice-breaker for goal & end this perfect match at 2-0!
El Nino scored the opener on his return from an adductor injury on a day when the Reds were back to their best after four consecutive defeats(Damn) But he confessed afterwards: "I wasn't really at my best. We knew before the game I couldn't play to 100 per cent because I had some pain in some actions, but in games like this the pain doesn't matter."
Torres took his tally for the season to nine midway through the second half after brushing off Rio Ferdinand and firing home at the near post.
He added: "I feel a bit of pain when I shoot across so I could only shoot towards the near post - it was the only thing I could do!"
The result leaves Liverpool just four points behind the champions and six adrift of league leaders Chelsea.
"I am really happy for the fans and the players and we will enjoy this," said Torres. "We are in the race again. We knew before the game that we had to win and we did it. Now we have a bit of confidence but we have to keep it going on Wednesday in the Carling Cup against Arsenal.
At the end of the storm, as the lyrics to the club's anthem go, there's a golden sky. There certainly was on this occasion, courtesy of Liverpool's answer to the Sunshine Kid, F.Torres.
Even deprived of their equivalent to Butch Cassidy, Steven Gerrard, one gunslinger was enough to shoot Liverpool out of a particularly dangerous corner. Four successive defeats had made for tempestuous times at Anfield, but a sunny day on Merseyside concluded with the scalp Liverpool prize most: that of Manchester United.
El Nino proves the class act again!!! Cheers mate......

Globalization of Chinese Food (Book)

216 pages long, rm 80 in price, Sidney Cheung, David Y. H. Wu are the author. Any major bookstore is the place you can get it.

Does Chinese food taste the same in different parts of the world? What has happened to the Chinese diet in mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau? What has affected the foodways of Chinese communities in other Asian countries with large Chinese diasporic communities? What has made Chinese food popular in Australia, Indonesia, the Philippines and Japan? What has brought about the adoption and adaptation of western food and changes in Chinese diets in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Peking?

By considering the practice of globalization, this volume of essays by well-known anthropologists from many locales in Asia, describes changes, variations and innovations to Chinese food in many parts of the world, paying particular attention to questions related to how foods are introduced, maintained, localised and reinvented according to changing lifestyles and social tastes.

The book reviews and broadens classic social science theories about ethnic and social identity formation through the examination of Chinese food and eating habits in many locations. It reveals surprising changes and provides a powerful testimony to the impact of late twentieth-century globalization.

Game In the name of MONOPOLY

There would be and are monopolies in unregulated competition. Its just smart free market policy big fish buys(eat) the small fish until they have control. Also in a free market big fish will do anything they can to maximize profit!
Big fish will buy politics to get regulation so they can bypass antitrust laws. Such as the 1945 McCarran-Ferguson Act, making it easier for monopolies and duopolies to exist. If you think about it, the free market allows for ownership of politics on both sides.
It's a free market and greed always wins in the end. Regulation always thins, because politics change and money is always to be made.
The good in politics are made the bad because of big money. I once thought our free market wasn't free because of regulation, but regulation is always in the hands of a profiting congressmen and a deep pocketed special interest group or company.

Four Catholic men and a Catholic woman were having coffee. The first Catholic man tells his friends,

"My son is a priest. When he walks into a room everyone says, 'Father'."
The second Catholic man chirps, "My son is a Bishop. When he walks into a room people say, 'Your Grace'."
The third Catholic gent says, "My son is a Cardinal. When he enters a room everyone says, 'Your Eminence'."
The fourth Catholic man says, "My son is the Pope. When he walks into a room people say 'Your Holiness'."
The lone Catholic woman was sipping her coffee in silence, so the four men give her a subtle,
"Well....?" She replies, "I have a daughter who's tall, fair and measures 38DD-24-36.

When she walks into a room, people say, 'My God!'
